SUPER GENEROUS PORTION for the price. the meat is flavorful and very well seasoned. the egg rolls are crispy and delicious. the vietnamese iced coffee is strong. highly recommended for the food and portion

This is beginning to become one of my favorite Vietnamese spots in the area because the portions are huge and the food is delicious. This spot not only sells pho or vermicelli but they have a variety of other dishes such as lemongrass tofu that you should definitely try out. The staff is very nice and service is quick.

Stumbled across this little place while staying at the hotel Aluxor. A bit pricey but the portion was good and the taste was flavorful, I got the pork and beef noodle soup and I have to say it was satisfying. I'm used to south Sacramento pho and I have to say this place was even better. Definitely recommend this if you're in the area.

Affordable prices, good food, friendly service, and HUGE portions! My parents love this place so I finally decided to try it and could see why they've become such regulars. Honestly, the first four points really sum this place up but here's a more detailed review of the food items I tried. - 7. Vietnamese beef carpaccio (raw beef salad or bo tai chanh) - flavor was good, beef was fresh (no stomach issue after!) but there was way too much onion compared to beef and mint so ratio was a bit off for me. Probably would skip it next time. - 60. garlic noodles with five spice chicken - my new go-to order. Garlic noodles are very fragrant with strong garlic butter flavor and the scallion onion on top with the fried shallots. Flavor of five spice chicken is ok but it's moist and succulent. This was honestly enough for 2-3 people. - 42. French style squab with raisin and onion sauce - STAR of the show. This is a dish that has a special memory in my heart and palate and when my family had it here, all the memories came swarming back. My family was shocked upon first bite and upon checking with the chef/owner Peter, we realized he was the original creator of the dish that we've had years ago. Safe to say that we'd come back just for this dish. Note that it's a limited chef's item; and I was almost going to gatekeep this but I owe it to chef Peter to share this here! Solid Vietnamese place with a large variety of options from pho to pho ga (chicken noodle) to garlic noodles and rice plates, there's something here for everyone. Love having this place around our area and I'll be back soon so more reviews on other items to come!

Went for Dinner Food - 5/5. Pho had a wonderfully fragrant broth with a rich beef flavor. Broth was skimmed well, having very little oil, leading to a clean taste. Noodles were soft and flat with a thickness that was perfect for adding a little bounce to its bite. Beef was cooked just slightly from the broth, making it very tender and savory. Their garlic noodles were classic, using spaghetti with a healthy dose of Parmesan cheese. It still had plenty of Vietnamese flavors, with a strong emphasis on garlic. The steak cubes were tender and seasoned well, but not uniform in size. This lead to some of the beef having a stringy texture, especially if they were too thin. The pieces that had a good thickness to them had a great bite from being medium rare with a rich aroma from the sauce. Service - 4/5. Friendly and quick service. Value - 4/5. Pho was of good size and priced in the mid $10s, which is standard for the area. The garlic noodles were good and the giant portion fit the price tag of $35, but I wouldn't say the steak quality made it particularly worth the price. Other dishes offer steak cubes in the $20s and you can get the garlic noodle with other proteins in the mid $10s price range, which is probably of better value. Parking - Street (Metered)

I saw pics from a recent Yelp Elite event and they looked great with lots of great reviews. I was influenced! Swung in and got the bbq pork vermicelli and the beef with garlic noodles. Beef with garlic noodles were great, but once we mixed the vermicelli together it felt like we were eating mostly noodles. I wished I ordered a side of cucumbers and pickled veggies as it felt like the ratio was off. Which is weird because the pictures look great, it was only after we mixed it all together where we were like, hmmmm. Otherwise they have a lot of street parking and lots but everything is a minimum of 2hr meters... Which is fine it's like $1. But the one woman I saw that double parked out front immediately had a meter made on top of them writing up a ticket. You've been warned!

A solid spot for Vietnamese food! I've tried their bun bo hue, which is number 21 (Spicy Beef and Pork Rice Noodle Soup) on their menu, and it is delicious! The broth definitely tastes lighter than your standard bun bo hue, but it was still so good! I got the small portion and it comes with tons of noodles and plenty of meat! The small is such a big portion! I've also tried their Fresh Tomato Wine Sauce Ox Tail Noodle Soup, number 32 on the menu, and it was pretty good. I love the wide noodles and it's very different from other Vietnamese soups I'm used too. I recommend trying this place out! There's seating inside and it's a great place for big groups to dine in. Service is fairly quick as well.

I always forget about this place. And it is strange because it is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in San Bruno. I think it is a relatively new business. Anyway, their dishes are excellent. The Five Color Rice Plate is my Go-To dish (egg loaf, shredded pork, pork chop, 5-spice chicken & egg roll). You a lot of variety and everything is fantastic. Oooh-la-la! My gym buddy at the Seven Color (add bbq prawns, bbq ribs). Tres magnifique! And to make my case....(des photos).
